Matthew Sherman is a self-taught stained glass artist based in Los Angeles, California. . He created The Glass Luminary as an outlet for his love for stained glass with a focus on lamps and other "luminaries". What started as a hobby collecting vintage stained glass pieces, slowly evolved into him pursuing the art himself and falling in love.  Blending classic art-deco and Tiffany-styles with psychedelic and pop art helps him create his unique patterns that bridge a timeless craft into the now. 

Matthew creates one-of-a-kind lamps, mirrors, windows, and more. He also creates custom pieces by request helping stained glass lovers and enthusiast create something truly unique.

Matthew also does leaded restoration work helping bring damaged and broken stained glass pieces back to life.
